Problem

A large forestry exporter in Chile ran its accounting and administration in Excel and on paper.

Decisions

Bank reconciliation runs on a matching engine written for the ERP, with deterministic rules. Cost centers were assigned by fixed rules too, until there was enough history to train a CatBoost model that runs locally.

An ERP that keeps the bank statements, the SII's records and the cost centers on the same books.
